Order your fish: Ask for cleaned catfish cut into thick steaks so the pieces hold together in the pot.

1/2
Ingredients
- 1 kg fresh catfish, cleaned and cut into steaks
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2–3 fresh peppers, blended or chopped
- 2 tablespoons pepper-soup spice
- A handful of scent leaves and a little utazi

- About 750 ml water
How to make it
- 1
Rinse the cleaned fish gently and place it in a wide pot with the onion, pepper, spice, salt and seasoning.
- 2

- 4
Serve hot, on its own or with agidi, yam or rice.
